Job summary

360care is hiring a Dental Assistant to visit long-term care facilities and assist physicians with dental care. You will maintain patient records in EMR, update odontograms, and support daily dental operations while traveling to facilities across the region.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel up to 100% of the time. Experience in medical/dental assisting and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED; Medical/Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Must have own reliable transportation with a good driving record and car insurance.
• Must pass a two-step TB skin test; Hepatitis B vaccination preferred.
• State radiation license/certificate required; strong computer skills and medical terminology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to follow directions and listen to patients and doctors.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor with patient care promptly and courteously.
• Maintain clinical records through electronic medical records and update odontogram.
• Prepare and pass instruments; maintain clean treatment areas and equipment.
• Balance daily production reports and post dental charges to providers.
• Travel to long-term care facilities; ensure HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality.
