Job summary

Divcon is seeking a Traveling Project Manager to oversee installation, commissioning, and handover of multiple construction projects nationwide. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery while meeting client and technical requirements.

The role demands strong BMS/HVAC expertise, risk management, and excellent client communication. Willingness to travel 95% (weekends/after-hours) is required. Relocation support available."

Qualifications

• 2+ years in construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of BMS, HVAC controls and automation.
• Technical expertise in electrical systems and commissioning.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
• OSHA 30 certification required or to be completed within the first week of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee installation subcontractors and Controls Technicians during commissioning.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to address concerns and manage expectations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
• Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents.
• Review and approve engineering submittals and technical drawings before handoff.
• Track and manage change orders, purchase orders, and project expenses to maintain budget adherence.
• Maintain accurate project records in DivPro including milestones and billings.
• Assign commissioning work and oversee field personnel.
• Review and approve weekly timecards for Controls Technicians.
• Approve and manage the BoM for each project.
• Provide monthly project updates and financial reporting to senior management.
