Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Reset Specialist to support project-based store resets in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. The role involves implementing planograms, relocating products, and ensuring displays meet retailer standards on a seasonal, project-based schedule.

Work may include remodel assignments; travel within a 100–200 mile radius and overnight stays are common. Part-time hours up to 30 per week with potential transition to full-time after meeting weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail merchandising, resets, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with planograms and schematic reading is highly desirable.
• Cosmetics reset/merchandising experience a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Accurately implement planograms and schematics to reset displays according to instructions.
• Remove, stock, and place products in designated areas for proper merchandising flow.
• Pack merchandise and process customer returns per guidelines.
• Document completion of tasks with photos and apps.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures to match planograms.
• Maintain communication with store managers and team leads about progress.
