Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. seeks a Traveling Reset Specialist to support project-based store resets by implementing planograms, relocating products, and adjusting shelves to meet company and retailer standards in San Diego, CA and surrounding territories.

This seasonal, part-time role offers up to 30 hours per week, with potential to transition to full-time after 60 days for eligible employees. Travel may include overnight trips and occasional mileage within a 100–200 mile radius.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail merchandising, resets, or related field.
• Familiarity with planograms and schematic reading.
• Cosmetics reset/merchandising experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to safely use a ladder or step stool for elevated shelves.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Accurately implement planograms and schematics to reset displays and sections.
• Remove, stock, and place products in designated areas to ensure organization and merchandising flow.
• Accurately pack merchandise and process customer returns per guidelines.
• Maintain optimal sales performance and inventory levels using planograms.
• Install and adjust shelving, hooks, and fixtures per planogram specifications.
• Ensure resets are completed according to standards and timelines.
• Communicate progress with store managers and supervisors.
• Document task completion with photos and reporting apps.
• Work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
