Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers, LLC is seeking Cooling Tower Cleaning Technicians to join the team in the San Jose, CA region. The role involves maintaining and cleaning both package and field-erected cooling tower equipment under guidance from Foremen and Superintendents to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Ideal candidates are motivated, comfortable with frequent travel, and capable of working in a fast-paced road environment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must pass negative 10 panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test.
• Valid Driver's License and proof of U.S. Citizenship.
• Satisfactory background check.
• DISA background screen score of 2 or less.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks with precision to ensure equipment quality.
• Operate power washers safely with correct spray heads.
• Follow supervisor instructions for safe, efficient project completion.
• Maintain safety, efficiency, and quality standards throughout work.
• Perform pre- and post-treatment measures, including chlorine levels.
• Complete THA cards and safety documents accurately and on schedule.
• Read MSDS and apply proper chemical handling techniques.
• Work at heights with 100% tie-off above 4 feet.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by Foreman or Superintendent.
