Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers, LLC in the San Jose, CA region is seeking Cooling Tower Cleaning Technicians to join our team. You will maintain and clean package and field-erected cooling tower equipment, traveling as needed and supporting safety-focused operations.

Under the guidance of foremen and superintendents, you will perform cleaning tasks, operate power washers, follow safety procedures, measure chlorine levels, read MSDS, document THA and safety records, and contribute to reliable plant

Qualifications

• Must pass negative 10 panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test.
• Valid U.S. Citizenship and a Driver's License with a clean record.
• Background check required with DISA score 2 or less.
• OSHA 10 Certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varied environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Operate power washers safely with proper spray head selection.
• Follow supervisor instructions to ensure safe, timely completion.
• Uphold safety, efficiency, and quality throughout projects.
• Maintain high cleaning standards without compromising safety or timeliness.
• Perform pre- and post-treatment activities, including chlorine checks.
• Read MSDS and practice proper chemical handling techniques.
• Work at heights with 100% tie-off above 4 feet.
• Complete THA cards and safety documentation on schedule.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervision.
