Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers, LLC in the San Jose, CA region is hiring Cooling Tower Cleaning Technicians to join our field teams. You will work under foremen to maintain and clean cooling tower equipment, travel frequently, and contribute to safe, efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Negative 10 panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test is required.
• Valid Driver's License and proof of U.S. Citizenship.
• Satisfactory background check.
• OSHA 10 Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks with precision to ensure equipment quality.
• Operate power washers safely with proper spray head selection.
• Follow supervisors' instructions to complete projects safely and on time.
• Uphold OBR’s safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Maintain high cleaning standards without compromising safety or timeliness.
• Measure free chlorine levels in cooling tower water before/after treatment.
• Demonstrate professionalism and technical competence in daily duties.
• Complete THA cards and safety documentation accurately.
• Read and apply MSDS information and handle chemicals properly.
• Work at heights with 100% tie-off above 4 feet.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
