Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking Traveling Construction Technicians to support renovation projects in long-term care facilities across the United States. The role requires skilled drywall, painting, framing, cabinets, handrails, and finish carpentry on occupied sites with extensive multi-state travel.

You will work full-time, perform installations and repairs, follow project plans and safety rules, and maintain professionalism around residents.

Qualifications

Construction experience required.
Strong drywall, painting, framing, and finish carpentry skills preferred.
Experience with cabinet installation, handrails, and facility renovations.
Minor electrical and plumbing experience is a plus.
Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform renovation and construction work in occupied senior living and long-term care facilities.
Install and finish drywall, including patching, taping, floating, texturing, and repairs.
Perform interior and finish painting, including surface preparation, patching, priming, and finish coats.
Construct wood and metal stud framing.
Install cabinets, handrails, doors, trim, and other finish carpentry items.
Perform general facility repairs and renovation work.
Follow project plans, schedules, and safety requirements.
Maintain professionalism while working around residents and facility staff.
Travel extensively to project locations in multiple states.
