Job summary

Brightview Senior Living is seeking a Traveling Skilled Craftsman to support interior finishes across multiple communities in South New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The role covers painting, carpentry, electrical and plumbing tasks, including resident apartment prep and capital improvements.

The candidate travels within a 75-mile radius, works independently, and manages diverse projects while maintaining Brightview’s high standards of finish and presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related carpentry, painting, or construction experience.
• Commercial or multi-site maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability and willingness to travel between communities, including overnight travel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Review and complete assigned work orders and project tasks.
• Complete approved, non-structural alterations per Brightview standards.
• Deliver high-quality finishes while meeting budget and timelines.
• Coordinate with community teams and Home Office leadership.
• Perform carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing tasks as needed.
• Estimate time and material requirements for projects.
