Job summary

Flagship Communities is seeking a hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team. Primary duties include painting, home remodeling, plumbing and electrical work, and landscaping to maintain manufactured home communities.

Candidates should have 4 to 7 years of housing maintenance experience, own tools, and be able to work autonomously while following safety guidelines. Travel in the region and weekly pay are noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Carpentry experience is required.
• Physically able to perform manual labor (lift, bend, reach).
• Positive attitude and team leadership.
• Basic plumbing knowledge and other systems.
• Working knowledge of tools and appliances.
• Experience in housing maintenance is preferred.
• CMRP certification is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and repair of ventilation and refrigeration systems.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs.
• Perform manual repairs (locks, windows, etc.).
• Pest control tasks such as spraying insecticide.
• General upkeep and other assigned tasks.
• Groundskeeping and landscaping.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost control.
• Mow, weed, and hedge trim; maintain equipment.
