Job summary

ARCO National Construction is seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead commercial and industrial design-build projects across the United States. You will oversee field operations, manage subcontractors, and partner with the project manager to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

This role requires 5–25 years as a Lead Superintendent, willingness to travel nationwide, and proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 5–25 years as Lead Superintendent.
• Willing to travel across the United States.
• Proficient in CM software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Possess valid driver's license.
• Physical ability to stand, walk and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and jobsite execution on commercial and industrial builds.
• Provide strong leadership to resolve conflicts and direct teams.
• Attend post-award meetings to gather project details and plan preconstruction.
• Develop construction schedules with PM, plan sequencing, manpower, equipment.
• Ensure work meets specs, stays on schedule, and targets profitability.
• Coordinate subcontractors to maintain project timeline and quality.
• Oversee cost reporting and approve requisitions and key docs.
• Maintain communication with PM about progress, plans, and issues.
• Enforce safety program across all phases.
