Lang Constructors Inc. is seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead commercial and federal construction projects nationwide.

This hands-on field leadership role requires independence on-site, directing subcontractors, enforcing standards, and representing the company on government and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will manage projects through mobilization, execution, and closeout while coordinating with project teams, owners, and inspectors.

Qualificações

• Minimum five years of commercial construction experience including lead superintendent roles.
• Experience independently managing sites and multiple subcontractor trades.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, trade sequencing, and field operations.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
• Proven ability to maintain project schedules while upholding safety and workmanship.
• Maintains jobsite documentation and communicates progress clearly.
• Demonstrates leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Works effectively with varied subcontractors.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including extended out-of-state assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily field operations from mobilization to closeout.
• Maintain a consistent on-site presence for assigned projects.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Lead subcontractor scheduling, material coordination, and sequencing.
• Develop short-term look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor safety, quality, schedules, and productivity.
• Review drawings, specs, and contracts for proper execution.
• Conduct field inspections and address deficiencies.
• Maintain daily reports and project documentation.
• Coordinate RFIs, field changes, and issues with the Project Manager.
• Manage activities within occupied facilities.
• Protect operations, access, security, and professional standards.
• Work with union and nonunion trades.
• Communicate with owners, government reps, inspectors, leadership.
• Support closeout, punch lists, and final inspections.
