Job summary

ARCO National Holdings is seeking a Traveling Assistant Construction Superintendent to lead design-build projects across the United States. You will support the project manager, manage field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on busy job sites.

This role suits an experienced assistant superintendent ready to own execution from post-award through completion, willing to travel nationwide, and proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience on warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, data center, commercial and/or cold storage projects.
• Willing to travel throughout the United States.
• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meeting to gather project details and begin preconstruction planning.
• Assist in developing the construction schedule, including activity sequencing and manpower needs.
• Oversee project to ensure work meets specifications, stays on schedule, and achieves target profitability.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure effective performance within the project timeline.
• Prepare job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and key project documents.
• Maintain communication with superintendent and project manager on job progress and issues.
