• Responsibilities:Coordinate and oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to ensure seamless execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Manage project schedules and budgets, adapting to challenges as they arise.
• Report project progress to the General Superintendent and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.
• Travel to various project sites as required (approximately 60% travel).
• Supervise teams on-site, ensuring adherence to construction techniques and building codes.
• Must-Have Skills:3+ years of experience in commercial construction.
• Proficiency in construction management and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and safety compliance.
• Ability to travel for project assignments (60% of time) primarily in the midwest or Chicago area.
• Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience with construction software and tools.
• Occupational Health and Safety Certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Project experience with budgets ranging from $200K to $30M.
• Familiarity with vanilla box retail, commercial buildouts, gas stations, fast food restaurants, coffee shops, mid-size retail, mixed-use, and multi-family developments.
