POSITION TITLE: Traveling Construction Superintendent

LOCATION: Georgia, Carolinas, Virginia, Tennessee

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time

IN THIS ROLE:

The Traveling Superintendent role will serve the eastern U.S. states (Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia, & Carolinas) and must have extensive knowledge in ground-up construction, tenant finish, and commercial remodel.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage multiple sites simultaneously, meeting scheduling goals and maintaining a high quality of standard including a clean, organized, and professional presentation of work sites.
  • Create an exceptional client experience, exceeding client expectations and monitoring all Osborne Company employees and subcontractors for appropriate and professional communication and behavior.
  • Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, drawings and applicable building codes.
  • Prepare cost estimates, Purchase Orders and Change Orders for the Project Managers.
  • Attend and provide input at Project Meetings and proactively identify solutions to support ongoing projects.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a construction role managing projects from execution to completion.
  • College degree or trade school a plus but is not required.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction methodologies, materials, and processes.
  • Experience with construction management software tools and current technology
  • Experience with energy efficient building technology, techniques, and their applications
  • A valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel to project sites for 2-4 weeks at a time (or longer if employee desires)
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
  • Pre-employment drug testing and background/MVR checks required
