Job summary

SKIPCO LLC is seeking a Construction General Laborer to support day-to-day project operations across commercial and residential sites. You will travel to multiple job sites weekly, assist with site prep, material handling, and safety compliance, and work closely with site superintendents to keep operations organized and efficient.

The role is hands-on and requires physical endurance, reliable scheduling, and the ability to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction labor across multiple project types (commercial and residential).
• Hands-on experience with power tools and construction machinery.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow site protocols.

Responsibilities

• Site Prep & Maintenance: Prepare, clean, and organize sites for daily operations.
• Material Handling: Transport and handle materials and equipment safely.
• Manual Labor: Execute tasks with minimal supervision and adapt to project needs.
• Temporary Structures: Install scaffolding, ladders, and site signage.
• Machinery Operation: Safely work with forklifts, skid steers, and rental equipment.
• Tool Operation: Run pumps, generators, shop vacs, and power tools.
• Demolition: Assist with light demolition and debris removal.
• Handyman Tasks: Perform carpentry, painting, caulking, electrical, and plumbing as needed.
• Reporting: Track daily assignments for progress reporting.
• Shop Care: Maintain and organize tools and equipment.
• Safety commitment: Follow OSHA guidelines and site protocols.
