Job summary

SKIPCO LLC is seeking a Construction General Laborer to support day-to-day project operations on commercial and residential sites. The role requires weekly travel to multiple job sites and a hands-on approach with a strong safety mindset.

You will assist with site prep, material handling, tool operation, light demolition and carpentry, and help keep job sites organized and compliant with OSHA guidelines while working closely with site superintendents.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial and residential construction labor tasks.
• Proficient in operating power tools and construction equipment safely.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
• Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Driving skills and trailer-pull ability preferred.
• Proven collaboration and communication in fast-paced teams.
• Strong problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Site prep, maintenance, and organization of commercial and residential sites.
• Transport and handle materials and tools across sites safely.
• Set up scaffolding, ladders, enclosures, and site signage.
• Operate basic site equipment (pumps, generators, shop vacs, tools).
• Assist with light demolition, carpentry, painting, caulking, electrical, and plumbing tasks.
• Document daily assignments to aid progress reporting.
• Maintain and organize shop tools and equipment.
• Uphold safety protocols and OSHA guidelines on all sites.
