Job summary

The Planet Group is seeking Traveling Project Managers to drive performance, build teams, and strengthen customer relationships across commercial and industrial construction projects. Based in our office locations or willing to travel to out-of-town jobs, you will oversee safety, cost, schedule, subcontractors, changes, and quality on assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Minimum of 5 years in construction project management.
• OSHA 30 training preferred.
• Experience with different contract delivery methods is preferred.
• History of managing commercial and industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Develop strategies for timely and cost-effective completion.
• Provide regular project status updates to management.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on site.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and conduct inspections.
• Resolve issues to prevent delays or disruptions.
• Lead and manage the project team to completion.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers.
• Participate in strategic initiatives to grow the company.
