Job summary

Planet Group is seeking Traveling Project Managers to drive performance and build teams across commercial and industrial construction projects. The role requires travel to out-of-town jobs and potential base at various office locations.

You will oversee project scope including safety, cost, schedule, subcontractors, changes, and quality, while maintaining client relationships and delivering results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of experience in construction project management.
• OSHA 30 training preferred.
• Experience with different contract delivery methods preferred.
• History of managing commercial/industrial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial and industrial construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop strategies for on-time and cost-effective completion.
• Provide regular project status updates to management.
• Identify risks and mitigate impacts on projects.
• Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ensure quality standards and conduct inspections for QA/QC.
• Resolve issues to prevent delays or disruptions.
• Lead and manage the project team to successful completion.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers.
• Participate in strategic initiatives to grow the company.
