Job summary

1 Resource Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee underground utilities projects in Texas. You will lead on-site construction activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure work meets plans, budgets, and safety standards.

This role requires at least five years of civil PM experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with project management software and MS Office. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with underground utilities and/or electrical/fiber projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in civil or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating all construction activities on-site.
• Monitor budget/ Cost throughout the project and communicates variances as they occur.
• Ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards
• Managing and coordinating subcontractor activities
• Monitoring project progress and conducting regular site meetings
• Managing and tracking project schedules and budgets
• Preparing and submitting daily progress reportsCollaborating with the Project Manager to resolve any issues or disputes
• Ensuring timely and accurate communication with project stakeholders
• Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures
