1 Resource Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee underground utilities construction projects across multiple sites. The role ensures projects stay on budget, on schedule, and meet company quality standards, with travel required frequently.

You will supervise on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, monitor costs, and report progress daily. Strong leadership, communication, and proficiency with PM software are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in heavy civil/underground utilities
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• OSHA certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree in civil or related field is a plus

The Construction Project Manager for our client who specializes in underground utilities are responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with company quality standards. This position requires a large percent of the travel.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising and coordinating all construction activities on-site
• Must have 5 years of Project Management experience in civil construction preferably with underground utilities and/or technology/ electrical and fiber in nature.
• Monitors budget/ Cost throughout the project and communicates variances as they occur.
• Ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards
• Managing and coordinating subcontractor activities
• Monitoring project progress and conducting regular site meetings
