Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Traveling Project Manager for the Advanced Facilities Group (AFG). The role travels to multiple project sites to provide overall direction and leadership for self-perform work on industrial and data center projects across the country.

Responsibilities include managing preconstruction, submittals, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience in construction management and coordination across teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and creates an injury-free environment.
• Manages prestart and preconstruction activities including takeoffs.
• Coordinates subcontractors, schedules, and change management.
• Gathers pricing, manages buyout, and tracks budget and scope.
• Reviews submittals, shop drawings, and approvals with architects/engineers.
• Provides regular project reporting, cost forecasting, and closeout.
