Job summary

Building & Earth Sciences, Inc. is seeking Field Technicians willing to travel to long-term remote projects nationwide, with a focus on Florida. The role involves testing observation of soils, concrete, grout, mortar and asphalt, with data collection and reporting on site.

Must have valid DL, clean MVR, background check, and be able to work night shifts and weekends. The position offers hourly pay starting at $19, per diem, company truck, fuel card, and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of field experience.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level I Certification.
• Portable Nuclear Gauge Safety Training Certification.
• Understanding of Proctor Compaction Test and USCS Soil Classification.
• Competency in One-Point Proctor testing in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide testing observation on field projects according to applicable specs.
• Sample preparation, collection and testing, field observations and documentation.
• Submit daily field reports with testing, inspections and observations.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Operate and transport a company vehicle within guidelines.
