Job summary

Building & Earth Sciences, Inc seeks FIELD TECHNICIANS willing to travel to long-term remote projects nationwide. Valid driver’s license, clean MVR, and background check required. Pay starts at $19 per hour plus per diem, company truck, fuel card and full benefits (PTO).

Role involves observing testing on sites for soil, concrete, grout, mortar and asphalt, with duties including sample prep, collection and documentation. Night and weekend shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum TWO YEARS Experience.
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Level I Certification.
• Portable Nuclear Gauge Safety Training Certification.
• Understanding of Proctor Compaction Test and USCS Soil Classification.
• Trained & demonstrated competency in One-Point Proctor testing in the field.

Responsibilities

• Provide testing observation on field projects according to applicable specifications.
• Prepare, collect and test samples with field observations.
• Submit daily field reports documenting testing, inspections and field observations.
• Document and communicate non-conforming items to project supervision.
• Move, calibrate and maintain equipment per codes and standards.
