Ulteig is seeking an experienced Construction Inspector II to monitor and document field work on major transportation and water projects across the U.S. Expect extensive travel (75–80%), with evenings, nights, and weekends possible.

You will work on a diverse team to meet quality, safety, and schedule milestones. The role requires inspecting asphalt and concrete pavements, bridges, waterlines, and related components, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining accurate as-built records

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of related construction inspection experience preferred.
• ACI - Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I is mandatory.
• Two-year technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Traffic Control Supervisor, Transportation Erosion Control Supervisor, Flagger, ACI or related certifications for Asphalt and /or Concrete preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and construction specifications/manuals.

Responsabilités

• Observe construction in accordance with project specifications and report progress.
• Track and report project/construction progress and status.
• Coordinate with owners, management teams, and contractors.
• Ensure adherence to Safety policies and QA/QC programs.
• Update drawings and assist with change orders and pay item tracking.
