Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Construction Inspector II to join the Critical Infrastructure Command Team, traveling 75-80% across the U.S. on major transportation and water projects, observing, monitoring, and documenting field work.

You will coordinate with owners, project teams, and contractors, ensure safety, QA/QC, and assist with change orders and pay item tracking; evenings, nights, weekends possible.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of related construction inspection experience preferred
• ACI Grade I mandatory
• Two-year technical degree preferred
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and contracts preferred

Responsibilities

• Observe construction in accordance with project specifications for pavements, bridges, pipes, and utilities
• Track and report project progress and status
• Coordinate with owners, project management, contractor teams, and utilities
• Ensure adherence to Safety policies and QA/QC programs
• Update as-built drawings and assist with change orders and pay items

Education

Two-year technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent
