Job summary

HEPCO Inc. seeks a Traveling Concrete Project Manager to oversee large-scale construction projects alongside the Project Superintendent. You will manage budgets, schedules, safety, and client relationships while coordinating with design teams and subcontractors.

The role requires travel and relocation as needed. Responsibilities include start-up, procurement, submittals, and cost forecasting, with Lean principles guiding daily activities.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of construction management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and project management processes.
• Advanced proficiency with project management, accounting, scheduling, and construction technology tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Lean construction principles.
• Ability to manage budgets, monitor profitability, and build lasting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a traveling concrete project from start to closeout, in coordination with supers, clients, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Lead subcontractor buyout, pricing, and scope verification; coordinate procurement and logistics.
• Manage submittals, shop drawings, and samples; review for quality and compliance.
• Develop and update schedules; monitor cost, budgets, and margins.
• Facilitate owner–architect–contractor meetings and progress reviews.
• Travel and relocate as needed for project assignments; ensure safety and Lean adherence.
