The ideal candidate has experience in concrete plant operations, strong communication skills, and a willingness to stay overnight when required by projects or operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in concrete plant operations preferred.
• Knowledge of plant equipment and components.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with DOT/public works projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete batch plant equipment to produce concrete.
• Accurately batch materials including cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures.
• Monitor production to ensure consistent output.
• Perform daily plant inspections and routine maintenance.
• Maintain proper material inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Keep plant and work area clean and organized.
• Assist with setup, tear down, and relocation of portable plants as needed.

This position requires frequent travel between Emery Sapp & Sons concrete plants located throughout Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas. Candidates must be willing to travel extensively, work away from their home location as needed, and stay overnight when project or operational demands require. This is not a stationary position and regular travel is an essential function of the job
