Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. (ESS) seeks a Traveling Concrete Batch Plant Operator to support construction operations across Missouri, Kansas, and Arkansas. The role requires producing concrete, operating batch plant equipment, and maintaining safe, efficient operations while traveling between plants.

The ideal candidate has experience in concrete plant operations, strong communication skills, and a willingness to stay overnight when required by projects or operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in concrete plant operations preferred.
• Knowledge of plant equipment and components.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with DOT/public works projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete batch plant equipment to produce concrete.
• Accurately batch materials including cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures.
• Monitor production to ensure consistent output.
• Perform daily plant inspections and routine maintenance.
• Maintain proper material inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and company standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Keep plant and work area clean and organized.
• Assist with setup, tear down, and relocation of portable plants as needed.
