Job summary

B in Austin, TX is seeking a Commercial Concrete Carpenter to perform a range of carpentry tasks for prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing concrete structures. You will erect forms, set elevations, and assist with concrete placement on site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations and aid in reinforcing steel placement.
• Erect forms using diverse materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, level, laser, or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground structures.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager about issues, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
