Job summary

B is seeking a Commercial Concrete Carpenter to perform carpentry tasks related to prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing of concrete. You will build forms, set elevations, place reinforcing steel, and ensure safety compliance on site.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, constructing forms for floors, walls, columns, and tilt-walls, using symon forms, calibrating forms, and coordinating with Foreman or PM. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Experience in constructing forms for concrete structures.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, elevated slabs, etc.
• Set forms to elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel.
• Erect forms using symon forms and other forming systems.
• Verify accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser, or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for elevated work.
• Communicate with Foreman/Project Manager about issues, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placing concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
