B&B Concrete in Arlington, TX is seeking a Commercial Concrete Carpenter to perform a variety of carpentry tasks related to prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing concrete. You will erect and set forms for foundations, tilt-wall, and other concrete structures, and collaborate with the team to meet project specs.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, assembling forms, verifying elevations, and maintaining safety on site.

Qualifications

Reads and interprets drawings/prints.
Builds/assembles wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
Adheres to safety policies and guidelines.
Communicates issues with foreman or project manager.
Pays close attention to detail during form placement and inspection.

Responsibilities

Read drawings and prints.
Build/assemble forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, etc.
Set/verify forms to elevations; assist with reinforcing steel.
Erect forms using varied materials and systems, mainly Symon forms.
Verify structure accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser or transit.
Erect scaffolding and ladders for elevated work.
Coordinate with supervision on material needs and safety hazards.
Ensure equipment is safe to operate.
Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
