Job summary

Southern Contracting, LLC is seeking a Traveling Concrete Foreman to lead civil and sitework crews across the Southeast. The role requires directing daily operations, mentoring crews, and ensuring safety and quality on commercial and civil projects.

You will travel to project sites, read detailed drawings, and drive forming and pouring activities while maintaining schedules and preserving project standards. This is a full-time, travel-heavy position with strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience specifically within concrete construction.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings and specifications.
• Deep technical understanding of concrete forming, finishing, and curing techniques.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage field documentation.
• Willingness to travel to various project assignments as required by the business.

Job Overview

• Company: Southern Contracting, LLC.
• Salary/Pay Rate: $30 – $35 per hour + performance bonuses.
• Location: Biloxi, MS; Newbern, TN; or Dunkirk, MD (Travel Required).
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (Occasional overtime required).
• Project Scope: Commercial, Civil, and Sitework.
• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver’s License.

• Advanced knowledge of equipment coordination and subcontractor management.
