Job summary

B&B Concrete seeks skilled workers to perform carpentry tasks related to prepping, pouring, and finishing concrete. You will erect and set forms for foundations, walls, and structures, ensuring proper elevations and alignment.

The role involves reading drawings, coordinating with foremen, and maintaining safe equipment and work areas. Candidates should have construction experience, strong communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or contracting industry.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls, elevated slabs, elevator cores, stairways.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; may aid in reinforcing steel installation.
• Erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, carpenter level, laser or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager about issues, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• May help signal concrete deliverer for proper placement.
• Observe and comply with safety policies and guidelines.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
