Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, and other structures.
• Set forms to elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel installation.
• Erect forms using diverse materials and forming systems (primarily symon forms).
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb line, level, laser or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for work above ground.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or PM about problems, materials or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placing concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
