Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures including floors, slabs, walls, columns, tilt-walls and elevator cores.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; may aid in installing reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using a plumb bob, carpenter's level, laser or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss or Project Manager about problems, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• May signal concrete deliverer to position truck for pouring.
• Observe and comply with all safety policies and guidelines.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
