Job summary

B&B Concrete in Little Rock, AR, seeks a Commercial Concrete Carpenter to prep, pour, place and finish concrete on a range of structures.

You will read prints, build and set forms, set elevations, assist with reinforcement and ensure safety on site while supporting the foreman and crew.

Strong attention to detail and prior construction experience are preferred to contribute to quality outcomes on projects.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read drawings and prints to determine form requirements and elevations.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete elements.
• Set and place forms to elevations, assist with reinforcing steel.
• Erect forms using various forming systems, mainly symon forms.
• Verify accuracy with plumb bob, level, laser or digital transit.
• Assist with placing concrete as needed and maintain site safety.
• Communicate issues to Foreman or Project Manager and follow directions.
