Job summary

B&B Concrete Contractors is seeking a Commercial Concrete Carpenter to perform carpentry tasks for prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing concrete. The role includes erecting and setting forms for foundations, buildings, and site work per drawings and specifications.

The candidate will read drawings, build and align forms, verify elevations, and work with forming systems such as Symon forms. Safety and teamwork are emphasized on every project site.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and prints to guide form construction.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete floors, walls, columns, and slabs.
• Set forms to correct elevations using levels, plumb, laser, or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders as needed for above-ground work.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe working condition.
• Signal concrete deliverers for proper placement and timing.
• Collaborate with Foreman or Project Manager to address issues and safety hazards.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
