Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a flexible and proactive TOPS Community Manager Specialist to provide short-term onsite leadership across multifamily, affordable, BTR, active adult, or student housing environments. This floating role supports transitions, vacancies, new acquisitions, and stabilization efforts while ensuring alignment with Asset Living policies and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to four years of property management experience preferred.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to learn and execute all on-site software functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of assigned communities in alignment with Asset Living Community Manager expectations.
• Ensure leasing and marketing strategies are executed effectively—closure rates, follow-up, documentation, and reporting.
• Lead the emergency response process for the community while on assignment.
• Provide short-term supervision, coaching, and direction to on-site staff; ensure operational continuity.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training needs as requested by Regional leadership.
• Promote teamwork, stability, and performance during temporary leadership transitions.
• Review and approve resident files, leases, renewals, and required documentation.
