Job summary

gpac seeks an experienced Commercial Pool Building Foreman to lead field crews on traveling commercial pool and aquatic facility projects. This hands-on role requires pool construction expertise and willingness to travel to project sites.

Ideal candidates have experience with hotels, resorts, waterparks, universities, or municipal facilities, and can coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and other trades to meet plans, specs, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

Experience leading a commercial construction crew.
Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
Strong understanding of pool construction methods and sequencing.
Willingness to travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

Lead and work alongside crews on commercial pool construction projects.
Direct daily crew activities and maintain project schedules.
Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Coordinate work with general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades.
Perform hands-on construction work and troubleshoot field issues.
Oversee pool construction activities including excavation, layout, forming, rebar, concrete/shotcrete, plumbing, equipment, finishes, and related work.
Monitor workmanship, productivity, safety, and jobsite organization.
Coordinate materials, deliveries, and jobsite needs.
Communicate daily progress, manpower, material requirements, and issues to project management.
Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Travel to commercial project locations as required.
