Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Commercial Pool Building Foreman for a traveling role to lead field crews on commercial pool and aquatic facility projects across multiple sites. This hands-on foreman will read plans, supervise crews, coordinate with general contractors, inspectors and other trades, and ensure safety, quality and progress on schedule; travel to project locations as required.

Experience with hotels, resorts, waterparks, universities or municipal facilities is preferred; a valid

Qualifications

• Commercial pool construction experience is required.
• Experience with large-scale commercial or institutional aquatic facilities.
• Proven experience leading a construction crew.
• Hands-on, working-foreman mentality.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Strong understanding of pool construction methods and sequencing.
• Ability to work with contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside crews on commercial pool construction projects.
• Direct daily crew activities and maintain project schedules.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Coordinate work with general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and other trades.
• Perform hands-on construction work and troubleshoot field issues.
• Oversee applicable pool construction activities including excavation, layout, forming, rebar, concrete/shotcrete, plumbing, equipment, finishes, and related work.
• Monitor workmanship, productivity, safety, and jobsite organization.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, and jobsite needs.
• Communicate daily progress, manpower, material requirements, and issues to project management.
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Travel to commercial project locations as required.
