Job summary

UFJPI seeks a Medical Assistant/CSR to travel to clinic locations, handling administrative and clinical tasks under physician supervision. You’ll post payments, manage registrations, and support patient scheduling while delivering excellent patient service.

Required CMA, BLS, and medical terminology credentials; plus a Florida driver’s license. Expect 80–100% travel to UFJPI clinical sites as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CMA certification required at time of hire.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Medical Terminology Certificate required within 30 days.
• Driver's License Florida required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming remits daily and post payments to appropriate accounts.
• Post Insurance and Self-Pay payments accurately with EOBs and backups.
• Maintain patient scheduling and register patients for services.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff.
• Support care team and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
