Qualifications

• Active RN license in AZ or multi-state compact.
• Minimum Bachelor's in Nursing with 3 years of direct Critical Care nursing.
• Master's degree preferred with 2 years of CC nursing experience.
• Enrollment in a graduate program or equivalent certification may be required.
• Must pass drug test and competency assessments.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach pre-licensure nursing.
• Observe student performance during Tucson-area clinical rotations.
• Collaborate with faculty to evaluate and document student progress.
• Grade written work and clinical performance checkoffs.
• Ensure accreditation requirements and university ethics are upheld.
• Travel within Tucson, AZ area to observe student performance as scheduled.
