Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking Adjunct Clinical Nursing faculty to reinforce didactic content and supervise clinical rotations for pre-licensure nursing students in the Tucson area.

You will collaborate with nursing faculty to evaluate student progress, participate in grading, and stay current with nursing trends while supporting accreditation standards and the University’s mission.

Qualifications

• MSN preferred or BSN with 9 graduate credits or national certification in the taught content area.
• 2 years of pediatrics nursing clinical experience.
• Active, multi-state RN license (compact).

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach core pediatrics nursing knowledge and skills.
• Collaborate with content-area faculty for evaluation and documenting student progress toward clinical objectives.
• Participate in grading written work and clinical performance check-offs.
• Remain current with trends and developments in nursing practice.
• Maintain accreditation compliance for the program.
• Travel to GCU student sites in the Tucson area to observe student performance during clinical rotations.
• Support all areas of the university program in alignment with institutional philosophy and mission.
