Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking students pursuing civil engineering, construction management, or related fields to join a traveling six-month Co-op with in-depth technical training and industry certifications upon successful completion.

Co-ops perform onsite testing of soils, concrete, masonry and asphalt on commercial and transportation projects, mentored by engineers, while gaining exposure to ASTM, AASHTO, ACI standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Must commit to full-time employment for six months.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs safely.
• Willing to work outdoors in various climates.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
• Work with project managers and technicians to ensure specs are followed.
• Gain hands-on training with industry certifications.
• Operate outdoors on construction sites in varying weather.
• Lift and carry materials as part of testing.
