Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation seeks engineering- and construction-oriented students for a 6-month Co-op in Bloomington or White Bear Lake, Minnesota. The role emphasizes in-depth training, on-site materials testing of soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt, and collaboration with project managers and technicians to ensure spec compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record for last 3 years.
• Full-time commitment for 6 months (mid-May to December).
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds.
• Safe attitude and mindset; ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on construction materials (soils, concrete, masonry, asphalt).
• Work with project managers and technicians to ensure specifications are followed.
• Gain field experience and onsite communication with construction crews.
• Train and certify in industry standards (ACI, ASTM, etc.) as part of the 3-day training event.
• Operate outdoors in varying weather conditions on sites in Bloomington or White Bear Lake, MN.
