Job summary

Braun Intertec Corporation in Lenexa, KS seeks engineering or construction management students and other interested candidates for a 6-month Co-op opportunity. You will receive in-depth technical training, industry certifications, and mentorship from a professional engineer while performing field testing on soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.

The role involves outdoor work, lifting 75+ pounds, and collaborating with project managers to verify specifications on commercial and transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record for the last 3 years.
• Full-time commitment for 6-months from mid-May to December.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds.
• "Working safe" attitude and mindset.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
• Onsite materials testing on commercial and transportation projects.
• Work with project managers and technicians to ensure specifications are followed.
• Gain field experience and communicate with construction crews.
