Job summary

Spriggs Excavation, Inc. seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead field crews on civil projects, ensuring schedules, budgets and quality standards are met while guiding Superintendents.

This full-time position requires 100% travel within the central United States, with assignments across multiple states. The PM will coordinate resources, submittals, RFIs, and billing, and partner with the Director of Project Management to forecast work and drive safety.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of civil construction experience.
• Proficient in MS Office 365; Procore experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
• Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate civil projects for efficiency and quality.
• Regularly communicate with clients about budget and schedule.
• Monitor budget adherence and adjust for issues.
• Support field supervision and day-to-day activities.
• Ensure safety standards and site compliance.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Collaborate with project team for updates and forecasting.
• Prepare accurate monthly billing with PM Director.
