Compass Group is seeking a Chef Manager for our contract foodservice operation in New Jersey. You will oversee both culinary and food service operations, driving quality, cost controls, and sustainability across the site.

This role requires strong leadership and expertise in menu development and inventory management. The position offers full-time benefits and growth opportunities within a global leader in foodservice management.

Qualifications

• Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
• Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.
• HACCP knowledge is preferred.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.
