Oak Park Place seeks a Traveling Chef to prepare and serve nutritious meals while meeting dietary requirements across nine Wisconsin communities. You will follow menus, portion meals precisely, and ensure cleanliness and food safety in all kitchen areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of kitchen or food preparation experience.
• Experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation rules.
• Ability to interpret recipes and calculate measurements.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Portion and serve food to facility residents.
• Cook according to menus and dietary or nutritional restrictions, and number of portions.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware.
• Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.

Requirements

Cook Qualifications
